Environmental Portraiture

Photographing people where they are makes for great storytelling, primarily if the assignment is intended for publication.

The subject was a water treatment plant for an industrial magazine feature. It made perfect sense to use the environment as a backdrop and incorporate the manager into the frame to show the plant's work narrative.
