Bio

I began my work experience in the darkroom printing for a restoration company. Reproduction printing was extremely valuable because I learned what constitutes a good print. I later went on to print work for commercial clients such as Arthur Elgort, Erica Lennard, Sotheby's and Chris Callis to name a few. I earned a B.A. degree with a concentration in photojournalism from Empire State College at S.U.N.Y. I spent eleven years at Newsday during which time the industry transformed from a wet darkroom to computer workstation.

I worked as an editor for Getty Images and adjunct photography instructor at C.U.N.Y.

Currently I write and photograph feature stories for the Republican-American and shoot freelance for various clients.
